In 2005 I created a small application that sends out an email to my beautiful fiance (now my wife :)). We were living in two different states and email was the quickest form of communication. She wanted me to email her 2-3 times a day (wheeooh) and I did. But this was taking too much time and it was the same old stuff repeating over and over again. So, on one good weekend I sat down and wrote 10-15 emails and persisted them in the database. All the emails were kinda alike repeating the same thing again and again (You know what I am talking about!). It took me 10 minutes to create a very simple console application that sends out 2-3 emails to her everyday. I used windows scheduler to send out the emails at various times throughout the day.

The application started working and everything was looking good. She was getting the stale emails and I was worry free. But, then started the problems. She started asking me questions about the emails. And all I could say was yeah yeah. She knew something was wrong and finally I had to tell her. What happened after is a confidential matter!

In conclusion I would say it is always good to write fresh emails to your loved one OR

If you do want to create an application then create a smarter one.
